Licensed Naturopathic Physician

Hello! I received my doctorate from the nationally accredited Naturopathic Medicine program at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. The Naturopathic Doctorate program is a 4 year full-time medical training program that included 850+ hours of clinical experience.

 

My undergraduate degree is from Duke University with a BA in English and Chinese. After graduating I moved to China and worked in telecommunications for nine years, and then continued this work in Paris, France for five years. When my contract in France was up, I packed up my Beijing cat Serafina and we moved to the Quiet Corner, CT to learn organic farming.

 

I was a vegetable, sprout and superfood farmer for 4 years. During this time I also became a certified health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. My farm, Serafina Says Farm,  offered a CSA, sprouts, micro greens and wheatgrass, health coaching, juice cleanses, and wellness workshops. During this time I was inspired by Growing Power's urban farmer Will Allen to explore reuniting agriculture and medicine. Through this exploration I discovered Naturopathic Medicine.

I was raised in Woodbury, CT and I am thrilled to be home providing naturopathic health care to my local community.
